The seventh and most extravagant White Lotus was set in the 1920's - a time of elegant madness. Summer soirees, jazz bands, and champagne fountains – all part of the endless whirl of wealth and stylish decadence that became known as the Golden Age. And in the centre of it all – Jay Gatsby – and his dream to throw the perfect party to catch the perfect woman.
And in true Gatsby style, we secured Australia’s most desirable residential property for the forthcoming event – a palatial summer house located in the nation’s most exclusive beachside address.
As one of the first homes built in Palm Beach in the early 1920s by the Hordern family, the estate is a wonderland of gardens, pools, cabanas, wide verandahs and effortless chic.
Guests were treated to decadent cocktails, a lavish dinner under a silk lined Marquee, performances by cotton club jazz band Glass, a stage show by the Illustrious Dance Troupe, not to mention a live alligator on a leash. Click Here for the photos.
The Great Gatsby party was proudly supported by Grey Goose Vodka, South Gin, Amstel Beer, Chambord, Coca Cola, Johnny Walker, iDrinx and JW Chocolates.
